A sparkling mix of classical and folk-influenced music includes the telling, to music, of the riveting poem about the disappearance in 1900 of three lighthouse keepers from a Hebridean island.
Max Baillie has led Bjork’s string orchestra at the RAH, recorded with guitar maestro John Williams and duetted with Bobby McFerrin in New York. Alexander Baillie is recognised as one of the finest cellists of his generation, appearing at the BBC Proms with the LSO, the BBCSO, RPO and CBSO.
